Church Nursery

Nursery Information

We currently have many children at Matthews Presbyterian Church between the ages of 0 to 5 years who would love to have your child join them. A nursery is available from 9:00am until 11:30am to care for children 2 and under. Our nursery is staffed by Anne and Doris who provide consistent care to infants and toddlers each week. With their help we want children to be surrounded by God's love while learning that church is a place they belong.  The nursery is located opposite the main entry doors to the Sanctuary Building.

Noah's Chapel

Noah's Chapel is also available during worship for children ages 3 through kindergarten.  In Noah's Chapel, parent volunteers teach children Bible stories, songs, prayer, and encourage friendships.  Children are invited to attend worship with their parents and are then escorted to the Noah's Chapel room 106 following the children's message.  Following worship, parents pick up their children in room 106.

Parent Reminders:

Our goal is to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing place for your children to visit on Sunday Mornings. Visitors are encouraged to ask another parent, elder, or nursery worker, Guadalupe and Doris, for assistance.

-If your child has had a fever within 24 hours or other symptoms of sickness, we request that your child stay home for a little extra TLC.

-No snacks are allowed in Noah's Chapel due to allergies.  If your child has allergies please inform the staff or volunteer working with them.  Infants will be given bottles as directed by parents.  Toddlers may receive a snack of water and goldfish crackers.
